Description
UPDATE, PLEASE READ:This camera can also be powered from a 9V wall adapter/external battery pack, so it SHOULD work without needing batteries in the handgrip, but none of my 9V adapters have the right size jack, so I still unfortunately have to sell it as untested.
Hello, I collect these cameras and am selling off some of my collection so others may enjoy them. This is a Canon 1014-XLS Super8 camera, one of Canon's top models. There is likely a short in the battery connection from the hand grip, I would repair this myself but I don't have the time. Still, I would like this to be used by some aspiring filmmaker and not sit on a shelf the rest of its life, so I am pricing this to sell for repair/parts. Even if you cannot repair it yourself, the low price should leave you $$ left over to take it to a professional. If you aren't completely satisfied, I do accept returns.
